It is God Who Girdeth Me with Strength and Maketh My Way Perfect!

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven:

for He maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and

Sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

~Matthew 5:45~

Some on a daily basis, others on a not-so-daily basis.

Pain . . .

Emotional, Mental, Physical ~ we all go through it, experiencing it in spurts sprinkled throughout our lifetime.

What is it that brings you pain in your life?  Is it an illness? The doctors tell you they can do no more for you, not one thing to bring you an ounce of comfort for your pain.

Is it being misunderstood? Is it that you’ve made a grave mistake or an error in judgment in the heat of the moment, something that you can’t take back nor erase?

Is it rejection? Is your spouse addicted to pornography, or illicit attachments to members of the opposite gender?

Could it be financial? You have done all you can with what you have, and sadly, it’s still never, ever, ever enough.

Do you feel as if somehow you are all alone in your world and pain is your constant companion because somehow YOU are flawed, and every one else is not?

The tears flow . . . the heart aches–deeply.  To no avail.  Life is filled with too much pain, and it seems as if it is here to last for a lifetime. When? how? will it, or can it all go away?

Do you trust the Lord as you say you do, or is it just lip service, plain ol’ christianese to ease your pain and soothe your mind.

Do you take everything to heart and condemn yourself while others stand idly by watching you struggle with a life issue that they know nothing about and have no comprehension whatsoever of what it’s like to be YOU?

They look down their noses in grandiose arrogance judging YOU when they can’t see what the mirror reflects so brightly back at them.

Sadly, they stand afar in judgment of you and your pain as if you are cracked, and useless, while they ROCK and RULE the world with their self-perceived perfect lives . . .

Your individual life experiences are as unique as snowflakes on a winter day.  No two are an exact match.  Although, some can relate to your experience, they are not you and therefore, are unable to process your pain away in the same manner in which they would whittle away at their own.  It’s a “pain-full” process, but healing is your own ~ with the Lord, of course.  It’s between you and the Lover of Your Soul! . . . JESUS!

Let those tears flow like a river of love for the Lord ~ Let HIM be your ENTIRE FOCUS ~ leave the cares of this world behind–after all, in time they won’t matter–not one bit.

Fill your heart with His peace, like streams in the desert gently strolling along.  You can–and will–find love, peace, joy, comfort, and happiness if you would but leave the junk of this fallen world where it belongs . . .

We are like the sun, ever rising unto the darkness of the dawn.  We are never ever everrrr so locked in darkness that we can not see His Light ~ for HE IS THE LIGHT. He brightens our path of dark, dungy hurt with His Truth, His Light.  For HE WILL LIGHT OUR CANDLE AND ENLIGHTEN OUR DARKNESS! ROCK ON!  FOR HE IS THE ROCK! HE WILL SAVE THE AFFLICTED AND BRING DOWN HIGH LOOKS! ~ Let the demonic be gone in the name of Jesus ~ celebrate your life and His love for YOU!

Praise the Lord!

He Came to Save That Which Was Lost . . .

ARE YOU
L O S T ?
~♥
HERE ARE DIRECTIONS TO GOD’S HOUSE:

Make a right onto “Believeth Boulevard”
Keep straight and go through the
Green Light, which is Jesus Christ.

From there . . .
You must turn onto the “Bridge of Faith,”
Which is over troubled water.
When you get off the bridge,
Make a right turn and Keep Straight.
You are on the “King’s Highway”
. . . Heaven-bound!

\O/

~ Yay! ~

Keep going for three miles:
One for the Father, one for the Son,
And one for the Holy Ghost.
Then exit off onto “Grace Boulevard”

From there . . .
Make a Right turn on “Gospel Lane”
Keep straight and then make
Another right on “Prayer Boulevard”

As you go on your way, Yield Not . . .
To the traffic on “Temptation Avenue”
Also, avoid “Sin Street”
Because it is a DEAD END~!
Pass up “Envy Drive,” and “Must Have Avenue”
Also, pass “Hypocrisy Street”
“Gossiping Lane” and “Backbiting Boulevard”

But you have to go down “Long-suffering Lane”
“Persecution Boulevard” and “Trials and Tribulations Avenue”
But that’s all right,
Because “V-I-C-T-O-R-Y Boulevard” is straight ahead!

The King’s Highway . . .

And an highway shall be there, and a way,

and it shall be called The way of holiness;

the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those:

the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein!

Bible Verses – Lie Down in Green Pastures – Psalm 23:2

He makes me lie down in green pastures . . .

Here to me “green pastures” symbolizes the Covenant of Grace born at Calvary. In Christ, we are recipients of all the blessings and promises of that Grace. In these green pastures we may feed on the goodness of God—in the fullness of Christ. It is in Christ that our grace is received. We are the sheep in His pasture. Here God invites us to “lie down”, make ourselves comfortable, kick back, and relax. This is God demonstrating to us the safety and fullness we have wrapped in His Grace. In Christ we are fed in these pastures, satisfied in the Spirit, and replenished in our souls as we lie down covered by His Grace as we feed on His goodness.

Imagine yourself sitting outdoors on a perfect day of “God’s Weather”–it is peaceful, calm, serene, and beautiful.  Take in the sights, the sounds, and the refreshing gentle breeze blowing through your hair.  Close your eyes, and picture your hand in His.  Picture Him holding you in His arms, caressing your head, comforting you, loving on you as his most treasured, precious child.

As I sit here, my thoughts deep on the things of the Lord, I gather them together to this summation . . . we are all hungry beings.  What we fill our hungry souls with dictates our level of peacefulness, or the lack thereof.  Silence is golden. It is in these sweetly-quiet, tender moments that we sit in silence and listen to the Lord fill our hearts with His love, His word, His compassion, His grace, and mercy; thereby, banishing our insatiable hunger for the things of this world that so emptily fill us.

Won’t you allow Him to lead YOU to the green pastures He has prepared for you? won’t you run to the green pastures He has waiting for you–to enter in, and to abound in His restful place of peace? ~ He longs for you to lie down in that green pasture and commune with Him–the One who Loves YOU with all your scabs, scars, and bruises.  Let Him be that tickle on your heart, and the giggle in your soul.  Allow the tears to flow freely down your cheeks, drowning in His LOVE!

from Brennan Manning ~ “Abba’s Child”

When I allow God to liberate me from unhealthy dependence from people, I listen more attentively, love more unselfishly, and am more compassionate and playful. I take myself less seriously, become aware that the breath of the Father is on my face, and that my countenance is bright with laughter in the midst of an adventure I thoroughly enjoy.

Conscientiously “wasting” time with God enables me to speak and act from greater strength, to forgive rather than nurse the latest bruise to my wounded ego, to be capable of magnanimity during the petty moments of life.

It empowers me to lose myself, at least temporarily, against a greater background than the tableau of my fears and insecurities,

to MERELY BE STILL AND KNOW THAT GOD IS GOD.
