Inspirational Bible Verses . . . The God Who Sees Me! ~ El Roi ~ Genesis 16:13 and MORE! ~

Daily I bear

a cross that is there

to simply remind me

of a world that can be

so cold and not care

about me

I look to this cross

with hopes

in my heart

and I know

that I know

it is their loss

to not want to know

a gal who can show

a love so deep

within her heart

leaning upwards so steep

to the God who sees

. . . me!

He is My El Roi

~♥~

Do you ever feel alone, sad, isolated, ostracized, ridiculed, judged, humiliated, looked down upon, misunderstood, wrecklessly misjudged, thought-less-ly verbally assaulted, care-less-ly disrespected by the prideful actions of others?

We’ve all been there at one point or another in our lives . . . and some of us–more than we care to share.

There are those who are hell-bent on setting us up to fail, or wanting to hurt us. Smugly, they approach the mirror which reflects back to them their prideful look of a mission well-accomplished.

There are some very disrespectful people on this planet!

There are those whose self-inflated egos are so high in the sky that they seem capable of only looking down. What (or who) do they look down on? Everyone.  In their high-mindedness, self-impressed selves no one is as wonderful or knowledgeable (or fill-in the blank) as they are.  They  judge others as if they had the right to judge, but only our Lord has that right . . . they’ve cursed us with their words and cast us all into the lake of fire–if only they could, they probably would. They are prideful know-it-alls operating in a haughty spirit.  It makes them feel great to leave you and others in their wake of destruction, leaving you to feel quite small.

So there you sit, spinning wildly alone in your thoughts as you attempt to dissect and process the sting of their hurtful words, actions, or neglectful, cold, callous, uncaring behaviours.

It is in these times and in these types of circumstances and situations that we can grow and mature spiritually.  We have the power to turn it around by shifting our focus from their lack of respect for us and others, to placing it right smack-dab into the Hand of the One Who Sees . . .

El Roi

In Genesis 16:7 we find Hagar, handmaid to Saria and Abram, by a fountain of water in the wilderness.  The Angel of the Lord appeared to her, and asked her, “whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go?” Hagar replied saying, “I flee from the face of my mistress, Sarai.” The angel of the Lord then said unto her, “Return unto thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands. I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude. Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt cal his name Ishmael, because the Lord hath heard thy affliction.” . . . v. 13 Hagar responds–And she called the name of the Lord that spake unto her, “Thou God seest me:”  for she said, “Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?”

Just as the Lord saw Hagar—all alone in the wilderness, in her state of emotional pain with the hurt she carried in her heart, the loneliness, perhaps even confusion as to why she was asked to leave, filled with fear of her uncertain future, and with a deep sadness in her soul—He also saw the injustices committed against her. ~ Therein lies the beauty! He is the God Who Sees! He sees all! Rest comfortably assured in knowing that nothing escapes our Lord’s vision.

Psalm 94:9 ~  He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

In my life, I am grateful to know El Roi, and am so comforted to know that not only does He see me and my hurts, my battles, my cries,  scars and battle wounds, but He also sees and knows of the injustices committed against me—His precious child.

He sees you, too!  He wants nothing more than to make things right for us.  When someone comes against us—no matter how justified they believe themselves to be—He sees their hearts and knows their motives.

When you are wronged, or treated despicably, hang on! He sees you, and most importantly—He sees them, and their unwarranted injustices against you. Remind yourself to know He is with you.

He is our Shadow of a Great Rock in a Weary Land!

He covers us as an ever mighty shadow, casting Himself on top of us, over us—protecting us from the cold, calloused evil hearts and intents of those who would want to bring us harm, those who would want to hurt us, slander us, judge us, condemn us to hell, abuse us, come against us every which way but loose! . . . He will protect us from those who plot evil schemes against us as they devise and desire to ultimately wound us, leading us to our being discouraged, dejected, disparaged, depreciated, or destroyed.

We need not worry about the hearts and intents of other people’s actions. The Lord Sees All!

In 1 Samuel 16:7 we see El Roi again . . . this time He looks at the heart.

. . . for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

In Jeremiah 17:9-10, we also see that the Lord examines the heart.

. . . The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

. . . I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

Psalm 34:15 tells us that the Lord sees and hears us.

. . . The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.

In Psalm 139 we see that He is forever-always with us . . .

O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known [me].

Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.

Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted [with] all my ways.

For [there is] not a word in my tongue, [but], lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.

Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.

[Such] knowledge [is] too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot [attain] unto it.

Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

If I ascend up into heaven, thou [art] there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou [art there].

[If] I take the wings of the morning, [and] dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;

Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.

Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light [are] both alike [to thee].

For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made: marvellous [are] thy works; and [that] my soul knoweth right well.

My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, [and] curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all [my members] were written, [which] in continuance were fashioned, when [as yet there was] none of them.

How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

[If] I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.

For they speak against thee wickedly, [and] thine enemies take [thy name] in vain.

Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?

I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

And see if [there be any] wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

In Genesis 29:32 ~ He sees our heart’s yearnings and our affliction.

. . . Leah conceived and bare a son, ad she called his name Rueben:  for she said, Surely the Lord hath looked upon my affliction; now therefore, my husband will love me. (Rueben means behold a son, for Jehovah has looked upon my affliction of being less loved by my husband than Rachel).

He roams the earth, to show Himself strong on our behalf, as we see here in 2 Chronicles 16:9 ~and Zechariah 4:10, respectively:

. . . For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.

. . . For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel [with] those seven; they [are] the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

1 Peter 3:12For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

Hebrews 4:13 ~ Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Proverbs 15:3The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

Psalm 113:6 ~ [The Lord] Who humbleth Himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

Psalm 14:2, Psalm 53:2The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

Psalm 33:13, Psalm 102:19 ~ The Lord looks down from heaven . . . Isaiah 18:4 ~ I will quietly look down from my dwelling.

Psalm 66:7 ~ His eyes keep watch on the nations . . . Exodus 14:24 ~ His eyes looked down on the Egyptians . . . Job 34:21 ~ God sees all men’s steps . . . Proverbs 5:21 ~ a man’s ways are before the Lord’s eyes . . . Jeremiah 32:19 ~ Your eyes are open to all the ways of men . . . Jeremiah 16:17 ~ my eyes are on all their ways

The eyes of the Lord are . . .

~ on those who fear him, Psalm 33:18

~ on the righteous, Psalm 34:15, 1 Peter 3;12

EL ROI ~ THE GOD WHO SEES ME

He is our vindicator. He is our comforter. He is our Hiding Place from the Wind. He is our Resting Place. He is our Covert from the Tempest. He is our Ointment Poured Forth.  He is our Strength and our Song. He is our Showers upon the earth. He is our High Tower. He is our Strong Rock. He is our King of Glory! He is Jehovah – Mighty in Battle.  He is an Everlasting Rock–our Rock of Ages.

Dear Heavenly and Most Holy Father:

We ask that you not only protect us from the evil meant to hurt us, but that you would have us examine our own hearts so that we are not the perpetrator bringing offense to any of your precious children. We love you, Lord, and all that you stand for is pure, holy, and righteous. We know that you call us to love, and this is the greatest commandment of all, in that you ask of us to simply love our neighbor as ourselves. Help us to love ourselves as You love us so that we may then pour forth and extend that same love to others—the good, the bad, and the ugly.

As we seek to become more like You, please bless us with the necessary self-discipline to sit still as we quietly study your Holy Word so that we may reflect on our own lives, our own impurities, our own sinfulness.

Purify us, Lord, so that we may be that city on a hill, the salt of the earth, as we build and edify one another. Let us not seek to destroy the precious tender hearts of those whom you love. Let us shine so that they may see Your good works, and glorify You.

Allow us the grace to self-examine ourselves with the same scrutiny as we examine others for we are all guilty as charged in this area.

Cleanse our hearts, O Lord, and keep us from evil—both on the offense and on the defense. Let us not offend, and help us to not be offended. When this does happen, as we know it will, please send your loving touch to our hearts, minds, and souls so that we can correctly stand before You, without sinfulness or bitterness in our hearts. May we right this ship of offense, and when we are wronged, Lord, may we remember the story of Hagar, and how she marveled at the revelation that You are the God Who Sees.

May we strive to reach the lost, but also to love one another as You love us, Lord, for You are Love.

Let love be our greatest aim as we meander here on this earth, and until that day when we go to meet with you in the sky. ~ In the name of your Holy, precious, loving son, Jesus—Amen.

~♥~

Your Precious Daughter who loves You, Lord

Healing Scriptures . . .

Let us NOT take our health for granted . . . It is here one day, gone the next.

Recently I have been experiencing dramatic changes in my health, and this was the catalyst for my posting these healing scriptures.

I do hope you find comfort as you recite God’s Word aloud, in faith, believing that He is who He says He is ~ the great I AM.

He is our Healer, Redeemer, and the Lover of our souls. ~ ♥ ~

Let us give Him the glory, honor, and praise due Him.  Amen? ~ A m e n !

(NOTE:  You will see at the end of this list of Healing Scriptures, a category in the right-hand column titled, “PRAYER”.  There are two links listed therein which will lead you to some audio for Healing Prayer, as well as prayers for stress, anxiety, fear, depression, suicide,  nervousness, etc.  It is my hope that you will enjoy them as much as I did!)

Exodus 15:26 He said, “If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.”

Exodus 23:25 Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.

Deuteronomy 7:15 The LORD will keep you free from every disease. He will not inflict on you the horrible diseases you knew in Egypt.

Deuteronomy 28:1-14, 61 If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God: You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock–the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed. You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out. The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven. The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. The LORD will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the LORD your God and walk in his ways. Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will fear you. The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity–in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground–in the land he swore to your forefathers to give you. The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them. The LORD will also bring on you every kind of sickness and disaster not recorded in this Book of the Law, until you are destroyed.

Deuteronomy 30:19-20 This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

1 Kings 8:56 Praise be to the LORD, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises he gave through his servant Moses.

Psalm 91:16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.

Psalm 103:3 Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits–who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.

Psalm 107:20 He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.

Psalm 118:17 I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done.

Proverbs 4:20-23 My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a man’s whole body.

Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Jeremiah 1:12 The LORD said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.”

Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD, `because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.’

Joel 3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weakling say, `I am strong!`

Nahum 1:9 Whatever they plot against the LORD he will bring to an end; trouble will not come a second time.

Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Matthew 8:2-3  A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cured of his leprosy.

Matthew 8:17 This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases.”

Matthew 18:18-19 “I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. “Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.

Matthew 21:21 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, `Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.

Mark 11:23-24 I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, `Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Mark 16:17-18 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Romans 4:17-21 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead–since he was about a hundred years old–and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

Romans 8:11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Galatians 3:13-14 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

Ephesians 6:10-17 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Philippians 2:13  for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

Hebrews 10:35 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.

Hebrews 11:11 By faith Abraham, even though he was past age–and Sarah herself was barren–was enabled to become a father because he considered him faithful who had made the promise.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

James 5:14-15 Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.

1 Peter 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

1 John 3:21-22 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him.

3 John 2 Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.

Revelations 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.

It is important to note that Jesus came to heal us of EVERY disease, whether it be a physical illness, an emotional or mental issue, but most importantly to heal our spiritual lives—that we may be set free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2).

Stand firm in your faith and in the belief that He is who He says He is

. . . and that His Word will not return void—ever! ; )

He is our Jehovah-Rapha!

\o/

Shout aloud all ye people!

and

Give Him Praise!

\o/

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need,

and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him,

how dwelleth the love of God in him?
~ 1 John 3:17 ~

 The jokes fly . . .

The ridicule rampant.

Two sick young men from Lewistown, Pennsylvania, both with a perverted sense of humor, post his severely damaged, unrecognizable face on a facebook profile page they proudly created for the sole purpose of poking fun at him.  They think they’re funny.  They are not.

May the Lord have mercy on their souls . . .

Sadly . . . sick minds laugh at his picture.  They load it on to their phones only to proudly show it off to others to prove they’re someone, in that they’ve got the “real deal”.  His face—completely gone.

WHAT THE YOU-KNOW-WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?

He was someone’s JOY when he was born. A cute baby, sitting in his high chair eating his baby food, as his mother lovingly fed him by spoon.  He cutely crawled, until he learned to walk, and his parents were so proud to have him as their son.  He is someone’s brother, cousin, father, friend.

HE IS GOD’S CREATED WORKMANSHIP.

HE WAS FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE.

He grew up with his siblings, in a nice neighborhood.  Attended a very prestigious high school in lower Manhattan, and received honors for he had an above average IQ of 129.

He is now a man without a face.

His name?

R O N A L D    P O P P O

Somewhere in life, he encountered pain, loss, and grief.

For 30 years, he endured the harshness that comes from being a homeless person, living on the streets.  Daily surviving heartless people hurling insults at him as they drive by, screaming at him to get a job, looking down their prideful noses at him as if he is somehow less than . . .

He is a person—homeless or not—God loves him, and we should all do the same.

He matters.

People harshly pass by him as if he is nothing, all the while refusing to reach into their wallets, purses, and deep pockets to retrieve and to assist with a measly contribution of a one-dollar bill to help him get a bottle of water, a burger, or a beer if he so chose.

Little to no kindness in their hearts, sadly they refuse him, ridicule him, and revile him.

Despite his life’s circumstances, and behind the gruesome damage done to his face, therein lies a soul, a spirit, a life—loved and created by our Dearest Lord.

It is only by the Grace of God that I am who I am . . .

But by the Grace of God, I am what I am . . .
~ 1 Corinthians 15:10

On Saturday, May 26, his entire world would forever change.

Enter in Rudy Eugene . . .

Another lost soul, Rudy Eugene’s car had broken down, and he was on foot.  He wandered through the streets of a hot Miami morning, while tearing his clothes off and throwing them into traffic.

As he came upon a sleeping RONALD POPPO, lying in the shade on a hot sidewalk off of Miami’s MacArthur Causeway, he stripped Mr. Poppo of his clothing from the waist down, and began savagely beating him.  Rudy chewed his face off beyond recognition.  Mr. Poppo’s face is one-fifth intact, with 75 to 80% of his face completely and forever gone. No nose, no mouth, his left eye forever missing.  His face now consists of his right eye and chin only.

While the event was MOST CERTAINLY DEMONIC in nature, Rudy was known to always have read his Bible, quote scripture, and was nicknamed, “Preacher Man”.  It is reported that he went everywhere with his Bible tucked in his arm. Why, he even attended Bible Study, as recently as Thursday, May 24.  You see, Rudy Eugene was known to have loved the Lord.

He, too, was someone’s young bouncy baby boy, full of joy as he entered this world.

Dismally, he is now gone.  His loss of life is nothing short of the sadness that pours through many a heart than that for an unconscious Mr. Poppo.  Although Mr. Poppo is alive, he is likely to suffer the rest of his life—the psychological damage being the worst of his pain from injuries sustained.

I cannot even begin to imagine what Mr. Eugene’s life would have been like if he had lived to face his fate of a jury trial, prison, etc. He, too, would have had to live with the psychological damage for the rest of his young life.  He was only 31—a spry little one-year old the year Mr. Poppo went homeless.

The doctors assigned to treat Mr. Poppo are doing everything they possibly can to reconstruct his face as he lies alone in a hospital room—unconscious.  They gather together to discuss and plan their next course of action, in a room full of their gifts from our Lord—gifts of intelligence, wisdom, college degrees from various medical schools, and decades-long of combined years of experience.

Facebook pages have been set up in support of this tender man who was so gruesomely harmed and damaged beyond recognition.  There are prayer groups, and pages set up for donations towards his medical care, of which could run as high as $200,000.

While there is no telling how long he will lie in critical condition before they can begin the work necessary to reconstruct his precious face, they fear infection might perhaps set in, as the germs from the mouth of Mr. Eugene are likely to spread germs and bacteria.

The earth spins, people go on about their lives, while this poor man lies unconscious in a hospital bed all alone–injured beyond recognition. Who of you care enough to stop for five minutes of your day to pray for this man? His name—RONALD POPPO.

Would you also mind keeping Mr. Rudy Eugene’s family and friends in vigilant prayer as they try to find the peace, comfort, and answers as they sort through the piecing together of the shocking, horrific news on the unexpected loss of their loved one.

But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need,

and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities,

against powers, against the rulers of the darknessof this world,

against spiritual wickedness in high places.
