I, too, rejoice!

Imagine my heart’s joy and surprise when I heard the news just two short days ago!

I have always hated the show, “Two and a Half Men”. I used to wonder how any parent could have so freely chosen to allow their young child to star in that role as Jake, let alone on that particular horrible sitcom.

What would become of that poor, young child? How might this experience damage his innocent soul, and pure young mind? What would be the long-term effects of all the filth and garbage being input and stored into this young child’s mind on a regular basis?

Those are the thoughts I had, along with the thought of how selfish and distasteful it was for any responsible adult to allow this young child to be exposed to such muck, manure, and foulness.

And for what? “ENTERTAINMENT” . . . have they no regard for his young soul? How about teaching him about the Lord? Hmm? Now, there’s a wonderful thought! Take him to church, instruct him in the way he should go, so when he grows old, he will not depart from it. Jesus is our anchor of hope.

Well, today, I am so filled with joy and gladness to see that this young boy, now a young man, named Angus T. Jones, has found his way to Christ, and is standing strong and firm in his beliefs and convictions!

On my drive in to work yesterday, I witnessed someone tragically lose their life. Today, as I drove OVER the spot on the street where he lay to take his last breath, I felt a sadness come over me. Who was he? What was he like? I can only begin to imagine the sadness his family was feeling for his loss of life.

As I continued on my daily morning drive, I felt the overwhelming presence of my MIGHTY, MARVELOUS, WONDERFUL, POWERFUL, LOVING LORD AND SAVIOUR reach HIS HAND down from the heavenly blue skies, which He knows I love so much, expressing His wanting me to take His Hand in mine.

I reached up, my tiny hand in His, and all was beautiful.

It was only after I opened up facebook this morning that I found this picture on my news feed . . .

Take heed . . . He LONGS for your hand ~ LONGS for YOU . . . to seek Him, to Love Him, to ACCEPT Him as Your Saviour!
